Jewelry is wonderful to look at and it is fragile. If you want it to last and pass this joy from generation to
generation, you should take good care of it.
Do not let the jewelry come into contact with soap, face creams, scents or hairspray. Moisture and
traces of sulfur that exist in paper, cardboard or cotton filled box will tarnish your metal jewelry.
For best results, store your polished jewelry in an enclosed area - sealed plastic bags, jewelry cases or
boxes – and place 3M Tarni-Shield Protectors strips inside. 3M Tarni-Shield Protectors are special
absorbent paper that protects gold, silver, copper and brass jewelry from discoloration and tarnish.
These strips will protect jewelry for approximately 6 months in an enclosed area. One strip (2”x5”)
protects one cubic foot of air space. It is safe and non-toxic. It does not emit anything or leave residue
on the metals. These protectors save you hours of polishing time!
